Story’s Fairview Cemetery Walk, Story City Iowa

Story City's Fairview Cemetery Walk, sponsored by Story City Historical Society, will take place Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25 at 4:30 - 7:30. Eleven characters will be portrayed by costumed actors. Their story of how they contributed to the community will be told. Tickets are $10. Parking is available at the Roland-Story Elementary School on north Hillcrest. Tours leave every 15 minutes. Reserve your spot by purchasing tickets at the Story City Chamber office, 515-733-4214. Request a golf cart ticket if you prefer to ride. Tickets will also be available at the east entrance to the cemetery the days of the event. "Go To Jail" after the tour for refreshments at the Brick Museum on south Hillcrest. Rain date events will be at the Roland-Story High Auditorium on Sunday, July 25 at 1:30 and 3:30.
